- Hello,for the past few years I have been working on my family tree. Just when I think I am done I find something new to investigate. I not only wanted to create a family tree but I wanted to put together a family history album. I had old birth certificates, marriage records, photographs, etc. Well by the time I was done my album was about 5 in thick!

even now my grandmother wear that outfit just like your grandmother.
On head they wear " batic " ( kerchief ).

That outfit is still preserve at the country, not in the cities, and only by old people.
I ask my grandmother all the time why she wear that on the head, and her answer is this:
Well, how should i leave my hair uncovered? lol
