Hi Kathleen. I just wanted to pass on that we are cousins. My 3rd Great Grandfather and Grandmother were Elisha Henry and Judah Halley. They are buried just behind the Halley's in the Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Groomsville, Tipton County, IN. Here are my Henry's who served with the Halley's during the Civil War.
Israel Henry Co. C 101st Indiana later served in the 140th Indiana
Elijah Henry Co. C 101st Indiana died at Nashville, TN and is buried in the Stones River National Cemetery
Elisha Henry 1st Sgt. Co. C 101st Indiana. He married a cousin Martha Henry. I put a new Government stone in for him a few years ago at the Liberty Cemetery.

It looks like My 3d Great Grandparents were brother and sister to your 3d Great Grandparents.

Hi Kathleen. I just found your site and wanted to let you know that we are related. My 3d Great Grandparents were Elisha Henry and Judah Halley. They were brother and sister to Israel and Sarah. Also they had children that served with the Halley's during the CW.
