- Hello,for the past few years I have been working on my family tree. Just when I think I am done I find something new to investigate. I not only wanted to create a family tree but I wanted to put together a family history album. I had old birth certificates, marriage records, photographs, etc. Well by the time I was done my album was about 5 in thick!

I am currently enrolled in the Boston University Genealogical Research certificate program online.
There are also home study courses at National Genealogical Society, there is a 40 course certificate program from the National Institute of Genealogical Studies in Toronto, ONT, as well as other courses from other vendors
I'm in the middle of the NGS home study course. It comes on 3 CDs and you work at your own pace.
